I rolled some beads into the back back floor Pam of Bettie yesterday, then welded it back in. The NOS part my buddy sold me won’t work with the new rear end portion of the frame. So I now have more extra pieces to try and sell later. One of the things I was up to yesterday was finishing my grill shell. It’s been cut in half for months and I finally decided to trim the pieces down and put it back together. I’ve been a little out of practice welding so that, coupled with my heap harbor freight inner shielded welder = ugly ugly welds. They’re holding, but my god am I happy you won’t be able to see them. My current project I’m pondering. How to get this NOS rumble seat floor pan to fit, and how to brace the rear of the body. I think I’m going to weld some square tubing on to the topside of the sub rails, then another bit of square tubing from the end of that to the bracing we put around the front bench seat.
